April Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms,

here's my April reading wrap up! A little late this time, but I've been super busy with my internship and with filming another video for booktube (in which I gush about the Netflix adaptation of Shadow and Bone, you can watch it here)! Still, April was a rather good reading month for me.

My Physical TBR

Hey there bookworms,

I filmed another booktube video and I'll probably do so more often again. I don't know if it's gonna become a regular thing because filming and editing is a lot of work, but I definitely had a lot of fun too. In today's video I'm showing you all the unread books on my shelves!

First Book Haul of 2021

Hey there bookworms,

I've been thinking about what other kinds of posts I could write on here, and then it hit me: Book Hauls! I haven't done one of these yet and since I already got a couple of new books since the year started, it's the perfect time to start with it. Here are all the books I bought since 2021 began!

DIY Scarlet Witch Headpiece

Hey there bookworms,
today I'm here with a non-bookish post. I've been watching Marvel's Wandavision for the past weeks and despite some initial fears I ended up loving the show. Watching the new episode has been the highlight of my week and I loved discussing all the crazy theories with friends. I'm now completely obsessed with the Scarlet Witch costumes from the show and I decided to make at least the key piece of her outfit: the headpiece. It was a fun little project and here's my tutorial for it!

January Wrap Up

Hey there booklovers,

can you believe it, the first month of 2021 is almost over! A new year of course means a new reading challenge. I've set my goal for this year to 65 books, but I guess I'll change it sooner or later. Here is my first monthly reading wrap up of 2021!

5 Star Reads of 2020

Hey there bookworms,

yes, today's Wednesday and no, this isn't today's official topic, but I've been wanting to make a post like this for a while now. It's still the first month of 2021, so better late than never! Today I want to talk about my 5 star reads from last year!

I don't rate many books 5 stars. I'm a picky reader. In fact, I only rate books 5 stars that I found truly perfect. So let's see if I can find 5 books that I've rated 5 stars!

December Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms,
the year is almost over (thank the Gods!) and I managed to get some reading done in December. There's one book in particular I'm actually proud of finally finishing. Here's my last reading wrap up of 2020!

November Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms,
November is almost over and I reached my reading goal this month! I'm now at 72 books (my goal was 70), although if I hadn't read that many comics in the last few months I wouldn't be where I am. So, thanks, Marvel and DC. Without further ado, here are all the books I read in November!

October Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms,
another month has passed! Can you believe it? October was a really great reading month for me. I actually set my goodreads goal from 65 up to 70 books because I'm doing so well at the moment. But then, some people maybe would say I'm cheating cause I've been reading a lot of comics. So here's my October reading wrap up!

September Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms,
another month is almost over and I honestly don't feel like I've accomplished much. I feel like I could have read more, but looking at the reading journal I keep it actually doesn't look that bad, and at this point I'm 4 books ahead of my goodreads challenge too. So without further ado, here are the books I've read in September!

August Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms!
August is almost over and I decided I'd like to post monthly reading wrap ups on my blog. I'm already keeping a handwritten reading journal and of course I'm adding my books on goodreads, but blogging about it will hopefully be a fun way for me to once again remember all the books I've read in each past month! So without further ado, here's my August 2020 reading wrap up!

Review: Black Widow Comic Series

Hey fellow bookworms,

Since I got into the Marvel fandom about half a year ago (the MCU to be precise, and shoutout to my lovely online bestie who introduced me to this world) I've been obsessed with all the characters. One of my favorites is Black Widow, and I recently decided I'd like to get into the comic world too. But the Marvel universe is huge, and where does one start without any prior knowledge? Luckily I got some recommendations and today I want to pass one on to you and review the 3-part Black Widow series by Nathan Edmondon!
