August Wrap Up

Hey there bookworms!
August is almost over and I decided I'd like to post monthly reading wrap ups on my blog. I'm already keeping a handwritten reading journal and of course I'm adding my books on goodreads, but blogging about it will hopefully be a fun way for me to once again remember all the books I've read in each past month! So without further ado, here's my August 2020 reading wrap up!

Top 5 Wednesday: Fitness & Training Regimens

Hey there bookworms,
time flies and I'm back with another T5W post. This week's topic is Fitness and Training Regimens, so I'm gonna tell you five characters from books I'd like to know the training routines of - because let's face it, some characters are truly badass fighters and who hasn't dreamt of being just as skilled and athlectic?! T5W is a weekly book blogging meme hosted by the official goodreads group with Gabriela currently giving us new promps every month! So here are five of my favorite fighters, and it'd be certainly interesting to know their workout (and very embarrassing because I couldn't keep up)!

Eckdaten
Titel: Life Hack - Dein Leben gehört mir
Autor: June Perry
Seitenzahl: 364
Verlag: Arena

ISBN:
9783401512037
Meine Bewertung: ★★★★☆

Life Hack ist ein Jugendthriller aus dem Science Fiction Genre, der in mancher Hinsicht aber gar nicht so sehr "fiction" ist, und dieser Aspekt macht das Buch sowohl spannend als auch beängstigend.

Tag: Do I Have That Book?

 Hey there bookworms,

I really love tags and I also love doing tags I haven't been tagged in! So today I will be doing the Do I Have That Book Challenge! The challenge was originally created by Tabby on the YouTube channel Keeping Tabs, and I saw the tag over at Alex from The Scribe Owl and decided it looked fun, so here I am! There are 20 questions in this challenge and I will turn my shelves upside down and try to find as many books as possible!

Top 5 Wednesday: Dream Adaptations

Hey there bookworms,
it's time for another T5W post and this week's topic is Dream Adaptations! So this is about books I'd like to see adapted as a movie or tv show. T5W is a weekly book blogging meme hosted by the official goodreads group where Gabriela (Violet Hawthorne on YouTube) is providing us with the topics at the moment.

I'm all for book to screen adaptations, but too many books (especially ya) have been made into movies already that ended up being a huge disappointment. Personally, I don't even care that much about the casting because I don't know that many actors anyway and you can do a lot with wigs, make up and cgi, but in some cases, casting is important for representation. That being said, here are my top 5 books I'd like to see adapted for the big (or small) screen!

Review: Black Widow Comic Series

Hey fellow bookworms,

Since I got into the Marvel fandom about half a year ago (the MCU to be precise, and shoutout to my lovely online bestie who introduced me to this world) I've been obsessed with all the characters. One of my favorites is Black Widow, and I recently decided I'd like to get into the comic world too. But the Marvel universe is huge, and where does one start without any prior knowledge? Luckily I got some recommendations and today I want to pass one on to you and review the 3-part Black Widow series by Nathan Edmondon!

Popular Books I Didn't Like

Hey there bookworms,
So I decided I'd make a post about some popular books that I didn't like as much as everyone else. I'm generally someone who always tries to look on the bright side and see at least some positive things in a book, but in general, the following ones just fell short for me. Please note that this is just my personal opinion. If you enjoyed these books I'm glad you did!
