Hey there bookworms,
I'm back with another T5W post! Today's topic is Furry Friends, so I'll be talking about pet companions in books, because who doesn't love those? T5W is a weekly book blogging meme hosted by the official goodreads group, and today's topic came from Alex (The Scribe Owl).
1. Fleetfoot / Throne of Glass
The deadly assassin Celaena Sardothien has a cute dog named Fleetfoot!
2. Doomslug / Skyward
Not what you'd call a typical pet, but ace pilot Spensa Nightshade finds an alien snail in a cave and names him/her/it Doomslug, and I think it's amazing.

3. Chewie / Captain Marvel
You may know Carol Danvers' cat Goose from the Captain Marvel movie, but in the comics, the cat is named Chewie because Carol is a major Star Wars fan.
4. Gerta / Neon Birds
In this German sci-fi trilogy, Luke, one of the main characters, has a hen named Gerta. She's adorable and kind of the secret fan favorite :D

5. Crookshanks / Harry Potter
There are many pets in the Harry Potter series, including owls, toads and cats. I chose Crookshanks, Hermiones cat, simply because I'm such a cat lover.
I absolutely loved this prompt! I love pets as sidekicks (on just in any form), and I always pray they don't die. I really want to get a cat myself one day, but until then, I'll have to do with the kitty at the barn, and of course with my four-legged princess! Do you have any pets?
